Beautiful Handmade Jewelry and Fused Dichroic Glass

Each piece is one-of-a-kind , a unique creation specially made for a very special woman.

The unusual jewelry you see is made with sterling silver or pure silver from Bali, Thailand, India, and Turkey.

I use glass beads made by American and Canadian artists in a process known as lampworking, along with semiprecious gemstones, freshwater pearls and fine crystal beads.

You will also find wonderful pieces of colorful dichroic glass which are fused together with other glass to create pendants, earrings and necklaces. Dichroic means two colors, and this glass appears to be different colors when viewed from different angles or in varying degrees of illumination. The glass is fired in the kiln to temperatures between 1350 and 1400 degrees, a process which takes about 8 hours. After that I may add more layers of glass and repeat the fusing. Finally I grind the glass to it's perfect shape and put it back in the kiln to be polished.

I have also added some pieces of fused dichroic glass jewelry which I make in my glass studio.
